RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Through our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) programme, we guide and support non-baptized adults and older children to discern their faith in God through the teachings of the Catholic Church. The journey that they take prepares them to receive the Sacraments of Initiation and become full-fledged members of the community. This process includes a time of learning, a time of discernment, and a gradual inclusion into the sacramental life of the community. There are several steps to prepare for Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion and the RCIA process guides those seeking entrance into the Church through those steps.

Inquires about joining the Catholic Church or coming into Full-Communion with the Church (those baptized in another Christian church and wanting to become Catholic) should be sent to Caji Fernandes at fccpastoral@gmail.com. Our first meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 30th July at 3:30pm at the FCC. In case you have missed this date, then you may contact Caji, directly.

Our RCIA Schedule for 2023-24 has listed the important dates and time of when we engage with our candidates during the times when they will be catechumens, elects and neophytes. If you consider to join the RCIA programme, save these dates in advance as you would be required to attend our sessions and ceremonies.
