The Franciscan Chapel Center supports two Orphanages in Tokyo.
Once a child turns 18 years old, he/she has to leave the orphanage and live on their own. These have proven to be challenging times as the responsibility of fending for themselves has to be borne independently. These young adults need guidance and support.
The Franciscan Chapel Center supports by offering vouchers to purchase formal attire that they can wear to attend job interviews, by paying for mobile sim cards and basic household equipment. This ensures that they can begin to live an independent life and pursue their dreams.
Parishioners, visitors and well-wishers make donations once a year during Christmas time. Proceeds of these go to support the orphans. During Christmas time, parishioners and other volunteers organize a Christmas party within the chapel center premises.
We would like your support, by means of your time and help, to make a difference in the lives of our young adults who have to leave the orphanage once they turn 18.
